At 16th of March 2009 the Christ-Elektronik GmbH took the business activities of Contendo Systems GmbH over. Due to this fact Christ expand it’s product range in the fields TouchPanels, embedded computers and operator units in best way. Many synergy effects in developing, production and sales generated very good price/performance ratio. The brand name “Contendo – embedded systems” will be keep alive.

The German company Contendo Systems GmbH with offices in Friedrichsdorf, in the Frankfurt am Main area, designs, manufactures and markets compact touch-screen PC systems for the POS (Point Of Sale) and industrial market. It focuses on innovative electronic systems in elegant-compact design.

The company Contendo Systems, formerly known as Positive Systems, was created in November 1999 as a GmbH by private investors. For eight years Contendo’s products have been used for a wide range of applications such as POS Systems (POS), Beverage Vending Machines, Building/Home Automation, Fleet Management and Navigation Systems, Advertisement, Media Solutions, Music Players, Machine Controls and Video Monitoring.
